The second series at the June 2021 show continued the theme of looking at the absurdity of the way we use modern technology and things that we may have lost because of it.
It’s hard to remember life before Google. Previous to the internet, if you needed information- a product or a service- your best bet was to turn to the Yellow Pages to find what you needed.
These works take the notion of the ridiculous questions we now pose to Google on the daily and present them through the retro lens of the tacky ads from the Yellow Pages circa 1989.
